They are only available for immediate sale in the specified colors and sizes, and with the details shown . The stated price does include minor alterations (hem length, minor bodice fitting), but would not include extensive design or size modifications. Italian Renaissance Gown
Ivory satin and brocade gown trimmed with woven ribbon and ivory and gold braid. The bodice centerpiece
and sleeves are accented with hand embroidery in gold thread and faux pearls. The attached
underskirt is accented with the same faux pearls. The attached undersleeves are of cotton batiste, and are
quite full. The oversleeves lace together,
and are tied onto the bodice with satin ribbon. This dress laces up the back, and has an attached modesty placket. The watteau train (from the shoulders) is detachable,
and is made of ivory georgette with faux pearl bead trim on the edges. Fits a retail size 10 or so – please
write for measurements used to construct this gown.

Lavender Contemporary Gown
Light lavender chiffon over white satin in a vaguely vintage
style. The empire bodice is low backed with shoulder straps and shoulder drapes. The dress
flares from the upper hip into a full circle tea length skirt. The bodice is fully underlined and slightly
boned with a built in bra, eliminating the need for a separate foundation garment. There
is an invisible zipper in the side seam. Handmade lavender chiffon roses and silk leaves
decorate the bodice and the low back. The chiffon is slightly irridescent with a frosted
overtone, and the white satin shines through from underneath. The entire effect is a gown
lightly dusted with color. This dress is based on an earlier design that was meant to be
worn again, especially for ballroom dancing. Fits a retail size 8 or 10 – please write
